Terms of Service

By creating an account and using PeakPull ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

PeakPull is a professional tool for personal trainers to measure and track client strength using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) compatible scales. The app allows you to record measurements, organize them by client, compare bilateral strength, and track progress over time.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

PeakPull offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. Subscription terms, pricing, and auto-renewal policies are governed by the respective app store. Refund requests must be directed to the app store where the purchase was made. We do not process payments directly.

You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose as a professional strength measurement tool. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer or decompile the app
• Use automated systems to access the app excessively

The app records measurements from BLE scales. While we strive for accuracy, measurement values depend on your hardware (BLE scale) and environmental conditions. PeakPull is not a medical device. We do not guarantee the accuracy of measurements and the app should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment decisions. You are responsible for verifying measurement accuracy for your professional use.

If you store information about your clients (names, notes, measurement data), you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your clients for storing and processing their data. You must comply with applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction (including GDPR, LGPD, or other applicable regulations) regarding client information.

The app, including its design, code, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without our written permission.

We strive to maintain the app's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app includes offline functionality that allows you to record measurements without an internet connection. Offline data is automatically synced when connectivity is restored. You may also manually sync or clear offline data from Settings. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.

You can export your data at any time using the Export feature in Settings. You retain ownership of the measurement data you create. Data is exported in CSV format for portability.

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab. For security, account deletion requires verification via a code sent to your registered email address. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted, including measurement data, client records, profile photos, and preferences.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, inaccurate measurements, or service interruptions.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
